The Thing Movie Poster Review Jan 26, 2011

I loved the movie, so I bought the poster to go with it as a centerpiece on the back wall in my bedroom, and it looks great. Keep in mind that this is not an actual movie poster made by the producers (an original copy should I say), so it's just a reprint, which is why it is so cheap. If you want an original, you will pay quite a bit of money, and I'm not willing to pay big bucks for something I am using for decorative purposes since it is just a piece of paper. The one big thing that I do want to point out to anyone that buys this is that when the poster is shipped, the tube they send it in seems to cause some kind of ripples in the poster, making it look as if someone has handled the poster before it was packaged. Of course, don't get me wrong, if you see very strong creases in the poster that makes it look like the poster has been folded; then you'd probably better contact the seller, but I did notice that the tube does cause the poster to have some ripples in it when you take it out of the tube, so it is important that you are aware of this because these ripples are visible even after the poster has been put in a frame. This can be fixed by putting the poster on a flat surface, covering it with a towel, and running an iron over it. That would take care of this problem. Other than that, it's a great buy. This poster is a great gift for anyone who loves the movie or just wants to decorate with their favorite horror movies.

Pretty solid "Thing" movie poster. One of my all-time favorite movies, so I love seeing this poster in my room every day. Check it out.
